Smooth drywall finishing, ready for paint

A drywall installation only looks complete when joints, corners and screw heads disappear into one even surface. ArtFix provides full drywall finishing and painting throughout Nijmegen and nearby areas.

Clean joints and consistent surfaces

Finishing begins with an inspection of the installed boards and their connections. Joints, screw heads and corners are then reinforced, filled and smoothed. Where required, ArtFix applies an appropriate skim or plaster finish. The aim is a consistent surface without distracting lines between individual sheets of plasterboard.

Paint-ready or fully painted

The required finish is agreed before work begins. ArtFix can prepare drywall walls and ceilings for painting or include the complete painted finish within the project. High-quality, proven materials are selected to suit the surface and intended result. Keeping the work with one specialist also creates clear responsibility from the plasterboard to the final coat.

Finishing existing drywall installations

Existing plasterboard, including boards installed by another contractor, can often be finished after inspection. During the paid site survey, ArtFix checks fixing, alignment, joints and visible damage. A fixed project price is then prepared for the agreed work. ArtFix draws on 15 years of experience and more than 100 completed projects. The finished work carries a warranty under the conditions stated in the proposal.

Drywall finishing questions

What is included in drywall finishing?

Depending on the project, it can include taping and filling joints, treating screw heads and corners, smoothing, skim finishing, paint preparation and complete painting.

Can ArtFix finish drywall installed by someone else?

Often, yes. The existing installation must first be assessed for secure fixing, alignment, joint condition and suitability for the requested finish.

How long does drywall finishing take to dry?

Drying time depends on the materials, layer thickness, temperature and ventilation. The project schedule is therefore determined for the conditions on site.

How are cost and warranty handled?

The consultation and site survey are paid. After assessment, ArtFix provides a fixed project price. Warranty coverage for the completed work is documented in the proposal.
